Exactly what is the SSS and what does it do?
The Super Sabre Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the F-100 Super Sabre and the men who flew her.
Who is eligible to join?
The Society is open to all F-100 Fighter Pilots, F-100 Wild Weasel Bears and F-100 Squadron Flight Surgeons.
How many members does it have?
The SSS currently has 1,344 members but the lists continues to grow.
What are some of the benefits of joining?

An annual subscription to The Intake magazine, a rich treasure trove of photos, articles, recollections, and stories
that is published three times a year (To view a preview of The Intake
click here.).
Access to portions of the SSS website that contain more photos of F-100 aircraft and pilots, biographies, archived copies of The Intake, plus a list of current members. The latter is especially useful for locating friends and old squadron mates.
Monthly "Toss Bomb" newsletters which describe the latest goings on in the F-100 community.
24/7 access to the "PIF," a chat room where members gather to exchange recollections about the Hun, plus tell war stories and other outrageous lies.
- Every two years members and their wives gather---usually in Las Vegas---to renew old friendships, enjoy good food and wine, plus tell even more war stories and more outragous lies.
